BIOGRAPHY
Upon graduating from East Stroudsburg University Joseph worked as an associate scientist in the field of organic chemistry then moved to a research and development chemist position in the field of organometallics. Since he was the youngest at the time he was forced onto the Emergency Response Team which was his first true exposure to the concept of safety.
After almost seven years in chemistry and four years on the ERT, the H&S Manager was leaving and Joseph stated his interest in the position. Joseph was hired on and began doing classwork towards his Master of Science in Occupational Safety & Health.
Joseph moved into the manufacturing world and kept pursuing his degree. After leaving the manufacturing world he became the H&S Manager for a pharmaceutical company before moving to EWMI where he is the Director of H&S and works alongside a great team with complex environmental construction jobs throughout the US. Joseph is blessed to have completed his Masters, achieved his ASP (Associate Safety Professional) and then his MSP (Master Safety Professional) while working for a company that truly makes employee health and safety its top priority.
