Safety, Health, and WC Manager – Carpenter Co.
Mike Abusharia, CSP, is currently the Division Safety Manager at Carpenter Co. in Fogelsville. Carpenter manufactures polyurethane foam and expanded polystyrene. Mike has been at Carpenter for 9 years and has been growing in the safety field for 14 years.
Before Mike was a full time safety manager he was a firefighter for the Alburtis Fire Department for over 9 Years. Instead of putting out fires he figured preventing fires in the first place could still contribute to the fire community. Mike lives in Allentown with his wife and 2 daughters. He enjoys socializing, stocks, video games, safety videos, and eating at non chain restaurants. Mike comes from a half German half Palestinian background. Mike is ready to do stand-up comedy and has no fear of talking in front of a huge group of people, but for now he just entertains and educates his team on Safety at Carpenter Co. He prefers to be called Abu or Mike Abu, because his name is never pronounced right.
